Compass Partners is a boutique Managed Services Provider offering a comprehensive and outsourced approach to managing and supporting specific functions, processes, or systems with a focus on Operations, Risk Management and AML/KYC. In addition we offer collaborative consultancy services to assist our clients in meeting their challenges and goals in what is a constantly evolving market. The founding partners have combined over 40 years of experience in the Global Financial Markets specialising in TPRM, On-boarding, Trade Processing & Reconciliations, Customer Support, Business Development and Project Management.

Richard de Bruijn
Managing Partner
Richard has over 20 years experience working in Securities Services and Financial Markets. He is the former Head of Clearing for the Brazil operations of a large Global Clearing Firm where he played a key role in significantly growing the business in this market. At the same time he implemented a new strategy with a strong focus on clients. Throughout his career working for a top 3 clearer, Richard has held positions as Head of Commercial and Regional Sales Director in the UK where he acquired experience in managing large teams. Having worked with Financial Institutions, Proprietary Trading Groups, Funds, Broker/Dealers, Exchanges, Clearing Houses and Regulators has enabled him to gain extensive knowledge of the Global Financial Markets Infrastructure and understand the business models of its participants.
Neil McDonald
Managing Partner
As a former Head of Operations for a major client clearer and with several years of experience in senior middle office, operations and risk management positions across multiple products and geographies for tier 1 banks, Neil brings both technical knowledge as well as strategic insight to his clients. He is a highly experienced lead consultant with a strong background in third-party risk management, having led successful programmes in global organisations with offices in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He also has extensive knowledge and expertise in change management, having facilitated change initiatives and portfolios globally for multiple organisations. With his vast experience, Neil is a trusted advisor to our existing clients.
